Michelle Whap is a senior intensive care physiotherapist with over 23 years of acute and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy experience. She chaired the ICU and Surgical Group for the Queensland Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy Network and presented at the Queensland Statewide Blunt Chest Trauma Forum. She mentors First Nations physiotherapists, advocates for culturally responsive care, and was awarded the 2025 Excellence in Leadership award at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workforce Awards.
