Abstracts
The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) is calling for abstract submissions for FOCUS26.
We invite business owners, academics, educators, researchers, practitioners and clinicians to share their expertise, and submit an abstract to the Conference Advisory Committee.
FOCUS26 is your platform to showcase innovative techniques, advanced education and business strategies that strengthen industry expertise. Submit your abstract in one of two formats:
- Oral Presentation – 15 minutes including Q&A
- ‘How To’ Presentation – 30-minute session, not designed to be practical in nature but may include demonstrations or video, answering the proposition of how to do or achieve something within a physiotherapy practice or educational setting
You may submit up to two abstracts.
This is your moment to elevate practice and empower physiotherapy.
Submission instructions
Step 1
Download and read the Abstract Submission Guidelines.
Step 2
Prepare your submission accordingly.
Step 3
Access the online portal and create an account.
Step 4
Select the abstract submissions tab and follow the instructions.
Step 5
Submit your abstract and look out for your confirmation email which should come through immediately (please note that it may be in your junk folder).
Step 6
Authors will be notified in late June 2026 of submission outcomes.
