PD hours/points

1 hour of Conference = 1 hour of CPD as required by the National Registration Board.

Intention to photograph/record

The APA reserves the right to use photographs and video footage, taken at any stage throughout the conference, for the purposes of advertising and promoting APA and its events. If you do not wish to comply with this policy, you must notify the APA Conference and Events Team prior to the event. No sessions or function within Conference may be recorded or replicated without prior approval from the APA Conference Team.

Onsite data collection

Solicitation of delegate data in any capacity, other than via the Lead Scanner on the app provided within the Exhibit, anywhere inside or outside of the Conference venue at all times is strictly prohibited

Covid-19

At the time of the Conference the APA will adhere to and be guided, by both the venue guidelines and the state government relevant directives of the time.

Conference delegate conduct

As part of fostering a positive and professional conference environment, we ask all attendees to adhere to the highest level of professional conduct in keeping with APA values. We ask that you enjoy beverages responsibly and remain culturally and socially aware to ensure a respectful atmosphere for all attendees. If you observe inappropriate behaviour or are uncomfortable at any time, please report it to FOCUS26 staff immediately. The APA is committed to a safe and respectful environment for all attendees and reserves the right to refuse entry to any delegate.

Cancellation of registration due to COVID conditions

The APA will offer a refund of the registration fee if the reason for cancellation is due to COVID related government-imposed border closures, lockdowns and quarantining requirements that are in place at the time of the cancellation. This policy pertains to registration fees only. The APA will not reimburse any travel/accommodation related expenses incurred by registrants who intend to / need to travel, regardless of the COVID situation.

NOTE: The standard APA cancellation terms apply to registrations cancellations due to a reason relating to an individual’s workplace travel policies. Therefore, it is the responsibility of registrants to be aware of any travel policies or restrictions imposed by their own workplaces and assume responsibility for their registrations accordingly.
