Adjunct Associate Professor John Fitzgerald is the founder and CEO of Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy in Brisbane, delivering services across outpatient clinics and hospital contracts in both private and public settings. He is a Titled APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist and served as National Chair of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy Australia in 2021–22. John has held international leadership roles, including on the Executive Board of the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy, and is the current Australian delegate. He contributes to education as a curriculum committee member at The University of Queensland, business lecturer and clinical educator, supporting students in Australia and Timor Leste.
